AC Milan wont permamnently Deal with Marco Van Ginkel

It looks like AC Milan is not going to have a permanent deal with Marco Van Ginkel the coming summer.

When Van Ginkel had been loaned out to San Siro last year, it was thought that the Holland player would stay long there.

The Rossoneri were supposed to be quite interested in investing in him, but, his stay there so far has been pretty troublesome. He has struggled to stay fit and as a result, has not played much.

He has just featured 4 times for Milan and the rhythm has been completely missing in his play in those games.

Ginkel was obviously rated very highly during his time at Vitesse, but, coming in the top leagues, he has not had the same kind of influence.

To be honest though, he has had fitness issues and then, he has not had too many games to play either.

He was actually sent to Milan so that he could gain some top level Football experience there, but, the purpose of that deal has not quite been fulfilled.

It’s almost certain now that the young play maker would be returning to West London once the ongoing season is done.

The Rossoneri, in the meanwhile, are exploring their options elsewhere. They are said to have set their eyes on the teenager from France named Morgan Sanson.

Playing for Montpellier at the moment, Sanson has surprised everyone with his holding ability in the midfield. He is too good for his age, that’s what some of the people who follow French Football say about him.

It would be interesting to see how much amount Montpellier demands if Milan approaches them. The sources say it is not going to be less than 7 million Pounds.

Apart from Montpellier, Sanson has played for Le Mans as well for one season.

A.C Milan contnues to boost in ranking table

Ac.Milan is currently positioned at the 7th spot in the Italian League after having secured 25 points in the opening 16 league matches that have been played so far.

The team of Filippo Inzaghi kicked off their campaign in stellar form as they claimed successive victories over Lazio and Parma but after a number of draws and defeats, they have to settle with a position around the middle of the Serie A.

The season of Ac.Milan has been fairly inconsistent with a convincing victory in one match and then it’s a disappointing result but even with this inconsistency, Diego Lopez is confident that Ac.Milan is going to finish the season in one of the top spots of the Italian League.

‘’Yes, of course we can finish in the top three, but it will be tough. There are plenty of teams who have Champions League ambitions. Napoli remains perhaps the most credible rival, but Inter and Fiorentina are ascending. Genoa and Lazio are also playing very well’’ Diego Lopez told reporters as he revealed the confidence that hehas on his teammates and in their capability of securing a top spot in the Italian League.

In order for Ac.Milan to actually secure a spot in the higher position of the Italian League, a number of signing might have to be done as there are areas of the squad of Filippo Inzaghi that are in need of reinforcing.

Ezequiel Munoz is a 24 year old defender who performs for Palermo and is rumored to have entered the radar of Ac.Milan’s Filippo Inzaghi. Munoz has a contract with Palermo that expires in June of 2015 but if Ac.Milan are truly interested in signing him and launch a good enough offer, then his contract could be terminated sooner than initially expected.

MILAN BEAT CELTIC

AC Milan managed to beat Celtic 2-0 in the opening Champions League group match at the San Siro. They are in one of the toughest groups this season, as the likes of Barcelona and Ajax form the other teams.

Hence, it was extremely imperative that Milan took the maximum points from the match against Celtic. After struggling in the opening 45 minutes, Milan managed to win the match 2-0. Despite this victory, they sit second in the table because of Barcelona’s 4-0 win over Ajax. Even though they have started the campaign with a defeat, Celtic should not be ruled out as a threat according to manager Massimiliano Allegri.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon was extremely disappointed after the match because he saw his team conceded two goals in the last 10 minutes. He said that Celtic should have come out with at least a draw from a match. Given the performance they put in at the San Siro, nobody should ruled out of qualification yet according to Allegri. Celtic have had great results against top European teams in the past at Celtic Park. They even defeated Barcelona in the group stages a few years ago, and Allegri says that a repeat of that could happen because Celtic are good team.

“Celtic are a very good team. I believe they still have chances of qualifying out of the group, but everything is still open, so we will see. We had luck a couple of times in the game, but it was a positive performance and an important victory for us. My side improved in the second part of the game and they will improve further. There are some players who haven’t played before, but this team has to be admired – they all defend together,” said Allegri after the match against Celtic.

ZLATAN COMPLETES MOVE

Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has completed his move to French club PSG from Italian club AC Milan. The 30-year-old is a well-known face in Italian football after having won numerous trophies with the Milan clubs.

However, this will be just his second departure from Italian football in three seasons after he recently moved to Barcelona where he spent just one season before returning to Italian football with AC Milan.

He helped AC Milan to the Italian Serie A title after many seasons, although he was unable to repeat the feat last season. Yet, he finished as the top scorer in the division, and Milan will certainly be extremely happy to let him leave.

The French club PSG made a combined offer of around £ 52 million for both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva, which was accepted by the club. It certainly makes a lot of financial sense for AC Milan given the fact that the striker recently turned 30 years of age. He is expected to offer only about three more years of top-level football due to the numerous injury problems. His departure will be now mean that AC Milan are likely to keep former Manchester City striker Robinho, as they will be left without any quality forwards in the team apart from Antonio Cassano.
