Montella has a contract with Milan until the summer of 2018, but he is expected to be given a new deal by the club’s new owners. “A professional doesn’t rule out anything at the start of their career, so why not? When I was 17 there was talk of interest from Juventus, I was young and promising. Then I got injured and the interest was never firmed up. Maybe coaching Lazio would be more complicated given that in Rome I have a house in the other part of the city!” said Montella, who is widely known for his time at Roma when he was a player.
