MILAN STUNNED AT HOME BY SASSUOLO

AC Milan suffered a big dent to their quest to win the Italian Serie A this seasonafter they were beaten at home by Sassuolo. The Rossoneri missed out on the chance to secure the summit on the league table after the failure to get a result at home to Sassuolo despite taking the lead.

Milan began the latest round of Italian Serie A games in second place with 32 points from 13 matches. They had the same number of points with league leaders Napoli with an inferior goal difference.

Radamel Falcao honoured by AC Milan transfer link

Radamel Falcao has said that he is honoured to be linked with a club of AC Milan’s calibre, though he is currently only focused on his job with AS Monaco and Colombia. In a recent interview with Premium Sport, the 32-year-old said: “I read and heard of Milan interest, so it is an honour that a club like that is tracking me. I follow Italian football and know that Milan are the second club in the world in terms of Champions League titles, but at the moment I am under contract with Monaco and am focused only on Monaco and Colombia. But it’s obvious that I like Italy and Italian football.”

The Rossoneri are understood to be eyeing a new midfielder, winger and a striker for the summer transfer window and they were surely be buoyed by the comments from Falcao. Nevertheless, the club are currently in UEFA trouble after their breach of the Financial Fair Play regulations and any penalties levied could hamper their chances of spending on fresh recruits without offloading a few.

AC Milan seal signing of Switzerland international

Switzerland international Ricardo Rodriguez has become AC Milan's third signing of the summer transfer window after they finalised an initial £13m package with Wolfsburg.


The 24-year-old will link up with the likes of Mateo Musacchio and Franck Kessie at the San Siro outfit next season.

Milan went into the game with some of their best legs on the sidelines due to injury. The result earned them their fourth straight loss in all competitions and 14 points behind log leaders Juventus.
