EVANI BACKS SHAARAWY

The former AC Milan star Alberigo Evani has said that the 19-year-old striker Stephan El Shaarawy has the potential to become one of the best in the world. Due to the absence of big name players like Robinho and Alex Pato, the AC Milan manager has been using the 19-year-old striker Stephan El Shaarawy in the matches on a regular basis recently.

ALLEGRI RULES OUT BALOTELLI

AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri has said that the club will not be making a move for Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli, who has been linked with a move away from Eastlands in the last couple of months.

WHY I HATE AC MILAN

A club owned by Silvio Berlusconi, one that was implicated in the 2006 match fixing scandal that rocked Italy, a club that saw Dida rolling around in agony from the slightest touch from a Celtic fan, the side that drank champagne at half time when 3-0 up against Liverpool in 2005, the fans cheering injuries to opposing players.

There are any number of reasons to hate AC Milan, yet they still sit at the top of Italian and European football, which only goes to make them more infuriating.

Dida Floored By Fan

Here's a video from a year ago showing AC Milan playing up to their stereotype.

Theres a break in play, whilst a player receives treatment. A fan runs on to the pitch in the San Siro, making the most of his chance to run around the pitch.

He approaches AC Milan's goalkeeper, Dida, and tries to embrace him as he runs past him, with one eye on the stewards who have started to chase him.

Dida tries to run after him, but is too fat and slow, so instead drops to his knees in agony and pain in one of the most ridiculous shows of play-acting Serie A has ever seen! And you thought AC only cheated the other teams - they cheat the fans too!

Leonardo Sacked

AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has revealed that Leonardo is to leave the club at the end of the season.

The Brazilian, a former fans' favourite at Giuseppe Meazza, has been in charge of the Serie A giants since May 2009.

He endured a tricky start to his reign, with disappointing performances put in both at home and abroad.

However, he was able to oversee a gradual improvement and had Milan primed to launch a title challenge at one stage this season.

Unfortunately, results have since fallen away again since and the Rossoneri appear destined to end the campaign empty-handed.
